Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Public Area Attendant to join our team full-time. This position is responsible for keeping all public areas of the hotel clean, neat, and welcoming for our guests. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment and provides excellent service to guests and team members.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, stairwells, and meeting spaces.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize public restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the property.
• Clean glass doors, mirrors, windows, and other surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness around entrances and other guest-accessible areas.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and damaged items to the appropriate department.
• Follow all hotel cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and sanitation standards.
• Complete daily cleaning assignments and other duties as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
